Agreeing to these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and M1Planner (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the website, the web app or the Android app, you accept them. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data and is part of this agreement.
If you use M1Planner for a company or another organisation, you accept these terms for it as well, and confirm that you are allowed to.
The service
M1Planner is a planner for your tasks, projects, goals, habits, notes, meetings, reminders, contacts, money, sleep and reading, with sharing for teams. We keep improving it, so features may be added, changed or, now and then, removed. If we remove something you rely on, we will tell you in advance, and you can always export your data.
New accounts start with a free trial of the whole app; its length is shown when you sign up. After the trial, a paid plan is needed to add and change things; see “Plans, trials and payments”.
Your account
- An account is for one person. Do not share it; invite people to your team instead.
- Use an email address that belongs to you and that you can read. It is how you sign in, and it is where codes and important notices go.
- Keep your password and your devices safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account, so tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
- You must meet the minimum age in the Privacy Policy’s “Children” section.
- One free trial per person. Opening extra accounts to get more trials is not allowed.
Acceptable use
Use M1Planner lawfully and fairly. In particular, do not:
- store or share content that is illegal or that infringes other people’s rights;
- use team invitations, meetings or sharing to send spam or unwanted messages, or to harass anyone;
- try to get into other people’s accounts or data, or into parts of the service you are not meant to reach;
- attack, overload or disrupt the service, including probing it for weaknesses, flooding it with requests, or getting around limits such as rate limits, storage quotas or the one-trial rule;
- upload malware or anything else designed to harm devices or data;
- copy, resell or offer the service as your own, or harvest it with automated tools, without our written permission.
If you find a security problem, please report it to us privately instead of using it. We are grateful for every report.
Your content
Everything you put into M1Planner, from tasks and notes to files, stays yours. We claim no ownership of it.
To run the service, you allow us to store, copy, back up, process and display your content, and to show it to the people you choose to share it with. This permission exists only so we can provide M1Planner to you, and it ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from backups, which are deleted within 14 days.
You are responsible for your content and for having the right to store and share it, including other people’s details in your address book.
We do not look at your content unless you ask us to (for example to help with a problem), the law requires it, or it is necessary to investigate abuse or protect the service.
Teams and sharing
You can add people to your team, give them access to projects, assign them tasks, invite them to meetings and share notes with them. You decide what each person may do, and you are responsible for what you share and with whom.
What you share stays visible to those people until you stop sharing it or remove them. Content others share with you belongs to them: it disappears when they delete it, stop sharing it or delete their account.
Invite only people who expect to hear from you. An invitation to someone without an account is emailed to the address you enter, with your name on it.
Plans, trials and payments
- Each person gets one free trial, of the length shown when you sign up. Buying a plan during the trial ends the trial, and the paid period starts right away.
- Plans and add-ons, such as extra storage, are priced in USDT, and USDT is what you pay in. The price is shown before you pay, and a price change never affects a period you have already paid for.
- You pay by sending USDT on BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20) to the wallet address shown at checkout, for the exact amount shown, before the countdown on the payment screen ends. The exact amount is how your payment is recognised.
- A payment on another network, in another token, to another address, for a different amount or after the countdown may not be recognised automatically. Write to support with the transaction and we will do our best to credit it, but we cannot reverse blockchain transactions, and money sent to a wrong network or address may be impossible to recover.
- You pay any network fee your wallet charges, and any tax that applies to you.
- Nothing renews or charges you automatically. When a period ends, you decide whether to pay for another one. You can pay for the next period ahead of time; it starts when the current one ends.
Refunds and the end of a plan
- A paid period runs until its end date. We do not refund time already used or the unused part of a period, unless the law that applies to you requires a refund.
- If something went wrong on our side, for example you paid twice for the same order, write to us and we will put it right.
- When a plan or a trial ends, nothing is deleted. You can still open and read everything, export it, change your settings and delete your account; adding or changing content and uploading files need an active plan again.
- Deleting your account ends any running plan or trial immediately, without a refund for the time left, as the page on deleting your account explains.
Availability
We work hard to keep M1Planner running, fast and safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. It may be unavailable for maintenance and updates, or for reasons outside our control, such as a failure at our hosting provider or on the blockchain.
M1Planner is provided “as is” and “as available”. Apart from what these terms say, and as far as the law allows, we make no other promises about it.
Reminders depend on your devices, your connection and services such as your browser’s push service, Google and Telegram. Do not rely on M1Planner alone for anything critical to health, safety or money.
We keep backups, but please keep your own copy of anything important; Settings › Export & import makes that easy.
Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, missed opportunities, or data that an export would have saved, arising from your use of M1Planner.
As far as the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for fraud or for harm caused on purpose or by gross negligence, and nothing in them takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using M1Planner at any time and delete your account from Settings › Security.
We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, puts other people or the service at risk, or when the law requires us to. Where it is reasonable and allowed, we will tell you first, explain why, and give you a chance to export your data. If we close your account without such a reason, we will refund the unused part of any paid period.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service changes or the law requires it. We will change the date at the top of this page and tell you about important changes in advance, by email or in the app. If you keep using M1Planner after a change takes effect, the new terms apply; if you do not agree with them, you can export your data and delete your account.
Disputes and applicable law
If something goes wrong, please contact us first; most problems are solved quickly that way.
These terms are governed by the law that applies where M1Planner is operated. This never takes away the protection that the mandatory law of the country where you live gives you as a consumer, including your right to bring a claim before the courts there.
If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later.
